The most known item is the Spanish Colonial Revival Center, the first building of Alameda County Medical Center started in 1924. It started as a truly gorgeous building, and a top rated medical center. By today it has become a large area of different buildings where the old and new compete with each other. The most recent building built is shown below. It provides the top class trauma units that serve the most serious patients. However it is hard to tell all the different years of the buildings and what a mish-mash they are now.
